The idea of social gatherings have changed a lot in the past couples years. Mainly because we all experienced the 2020 pandemic in one way or another. Let's redefine what a party really means with this simple recipe.
According to the Oxford dictionary;

enjoy oneself at a party or other lively gathering, typically with drinking and music.
Well if having a drink, enjoying some entertainment at a lively gathering defines a party, we are already halfway there.
Ingredients for your party:
- Guest Invitations. Whether you send off a card in the mail or nowadays, you can send a quick email or text. Get the message out to a small group of friends. Make the message special and it will be sure to make your guests feel special too.
- Give Your Guests an Activity. Other than mingling and talking about your day, incorporate a fun activity like board games or a murder mystery dinner. It will create an fun experience for your guests. Talk about passing time by when you're having fun!
- Music Matters. Set the mood with some upbeat music your guests can jam out too. Clear a space for some dancing. When was the last time your were on the dancefloor? 💃🏻
- Tablescapes. Create a spread of each guest's favorite food and snacks. Cheese and prosciutto is a great start to a charcuterie board. If there's anything we've learned from 2020, it has to be that everyone should know how to put a charcuterie board together or in our case, how to eat one.
- Open Bar in a Quaint Space. If you are the guest, bring a bottle of wine or bubbles to the party. Have you heard the phrase, "No one goes to a party, empty handed." Be an exemplary guest and bring the party!
- Social Theme. Themed parties aren't just for the kiddos. Adults can be kids again for an evening and dress up! Let the 20's roar, the sock hop, and the hip hop (???) Okay, that last one was reaching there, but you get the idea. With all your guests included in your theme, it will make for some great photos and social posts!
